We are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team and help us deliver quality embedded solutions that are fit for use and purpose. This role is hybrid and will be based from our Malmo (Sweden) office.

What will you be doing in this role?

As a Senior Developer at Tunstall, your role will be to create and review embedded software code, to design, develop and modify embedded system solutions and components based on business and customer requirements using an agile mindset.

The Ideal candidate:

Any experience of working within an Agile environment and collaborating with colleagues both locally and in other regions

Required skills and experience

• A good level of experience in Embedded SW Development

• Good level of business English and Swedish

Required skills and experience

• C programming language

• Git

• RTOS

• Agile tools like Azure DevOps or similar

Desirable skills and experience

• Deep embedded programming, including small-footprint and low-power systems

• ARM processors and associated development tools

• Communication protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G/LTE cellu-lar, GPS

• Firmware development using an RTOS environment, Embedded Linux or similar

• Writing low level code interfacing directly with hardware

• Firmware Over The Air (FOTA)

• Use of oscilloscopes and other hardware debugging techniques

• Multi-core/multi-thread computing

• GNU toolchain (gcc, as, ld, make, sed, etc) or equivalent cross platform develop-ment tool

• Performance tuning and memory optimization

• OO language (Java/C++)

• REST/Web Services

• Automated testing
