Application Specialist - Monitoring
We are currently looking for an Application Specialist – Monitoring to join our Operations team at our Malmö office (Hyllie). This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of Tunstall’s digital platforms and customer environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for proactive monitoring, alarm management, and advanced technical support across our service landscape. You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to strengthen monitoring capabilities, improve service reliability, and drive operational excellence.
As an Application Specialist – Monitoring, you will take ownership of developing and optimizing monitoring strategies, primarily within Zabbix. You will monitor and handle alarms across customer and our hosted customer environments, ensuring efficient resolution and clear escalation paths. A key part of the role is performing root cause analysis, identifying trends and patterns, and implementing improvements to prevent recurring incidents and enhance platform stability.
In your daily work, you will also contribute to performance optimization and capacity analysis to ensure high availability and resilience. You will manage bug handling and corrective actions in Azure DevOps, and actively work with system hardening and technical improvements across services and infrastructure.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with experience in monitoring and operational support within complex IT environments. You are analytical and structured, with a strong ability to identify patterns, solve problems, and prioritize effectively in high-pressure situations. You communicate clearly and are comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You have experience working with monitoring tools (preferably Zabbix), incident management, and root cause analysis. Experience with performance optimization, capacity planning, and working with tools such as Azure DevOps is highly valued. A good understanding of IT infrastructure, integrations, and cloud environments (preferably Azure) is also important.
